The Pratt Jr Family - Missionary Church Planters

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

During the first couple of weeks of quarantine, our Pastor preached a message on having a purpose during this season. Honestly, before this message we were glued to our televisions. Waking up and watching the news as our President, our Governor, and the Cincinnati Mayor would each have daily updates often lasting two-plus hours.

The message on Ecclesiastes convicted me to use our time wisely. It also encouraged me, by convicting me, that there is still a purpose during this season. God revealed to me that we need to take advantage of this time and prepare for our next steps after COVID19. God's burden was for me to finish as much of my education as possible so that when the Canadian border opens up, I can take a break and focus on our mission. Since then, I have finished four courses and currently working on two more.

SPECIAL MOMENTS

We are excited to share with you these special family moments!

My First Memory Verse (Genesis 1:1)

Elizabeth has been working really hard on her memory verse. It is now her favorite thing to say and it sounds so precious coming from her! Warning this video contains 100% adorableness.

Congratulations, Kara! Class of 2020!

It is hard to believe that our little girl is graduating High School! It seems like last year she was graduating pre-school (click the arrow on the picture to view all of Kara's graduation pictures).

It breaks our heart, with COVID19, that she could not experience her graduation ceremony with her friends and instead had to walk by her self. But we thank God she was able to have some sort of graduation.

Kara plans on taking a "GAP" year before making future plans for her education. Like all teens, she is excited to finally have high school behind her and is looking forward to her future.

PRAYER REQUESTS

* Pray for God to open doors for a six-month full-time staff position for Steve. In order to qualify for Career Missionary with the BBFI, Steve needs six months of experience.

* Pray for our Gospel Video. We ran into some technical issues that are preventing us from editing videos.

* Pray for Kara as she steps out into the world. She is currently looking for a full-time job.

* Pray for Canada! Pray that their hearts will be softened to the gospel and that they will call upon the name of the Lord! And pray the border opens soon.

God bless,

Steven Pratt, Jr.
